The Cellar

THE STRUCTURE

The cellar, about 2000 sq.m, is located at the centre of the estate. A simple and essential place, made to satisfy the production of the 60 ha of vineyards where Antimo, with the aenologist Davide Biagiotti, follows all the production phases, from the estraction of the juice to the final bottling. Every year, Porto di Mola cellar produces about 250.000 bottles, fruit of the volcanic origins lands, that give to our wines a unique structure and a taste of thousands shades.


THE PRODUCTION

In the vineyard a combination of mechanical and manual work is used to achieve excellent results. The ground management is completely mechanical, while dry and green pruning results from the manual work of our team. A rigorous discipline, in all the production phases, guarantees a traditional, genuine and refined wine, the finale result of a great passion for this profession and the generosity of the land.


THE RESEARCH

Our major will is to promote our estate area, in fact, it is completely focused on the typical products of our lands. We refer to the red berry plantation of the grapes bariletto, typical of Rocca d’Evandro and to Falanghina and Aglianico, the greatest vines of Campania.


ESTATE TOURS

A tour in the vineyards will allow you to see closely where our grapes raise, while, in the cellar, you can follow all the production processes and taste our wines, with lunches prepared by our chefs or tastings of the best selection of Alto Casertano typical products.
