The tests carryed out in the cellar through micro vinification of the different plots led us to identify the vineyards that can express the maximum giving to the grapes particular characteristics. From this was born Petratonda, a selection of the best grapes of the vineyard “La Contessa”. The grapes, manually harvest, tardily at the end of October, at low temperatures so as to preserve all the varietal aromas. Indeed, this wine, is rich of floral and fruity fragrances and to complete its bouquet is added a smell of bread crust due to the long refinement on the dregs, this operation gives to the wine a good structure and softness compensating the strong acidity and savory.
This “Falanghina” is bottled up in May after about 7 months of refinement on the wine dregs. Name of the product: Petratonda
