Description
This wine, imposing and with a cheerful character, was born from Antimo Esposito‘s desire to remember the figure of his father Giuseppe, known to all as Peppì, who dedicated all his skill to it since the very beginning of the company.
For this reason we chose the grapes coming from the company’s oldest vine, where, in addition to Aglianico, there are probably native varieties.
Fermentation takes place in small chestnut vats, in which the wine continues to refine for approximately 8 months after racking.
Peppì therefore summarizes the right combination of modern enology and tradition.
The sincere love for the land brought back into the bottle to honor a special person.
